2001年天津师范大学生物学教育学学士;2004年西南农业大学植物学硕士,2011年西南大学果树学博士;2004年、2007年、2011年、2023年先后任助教、讲师、副教授、教授。现任西南大学园艺园林学院植物学系系主任。主持各级各类项目10余项,发表科研论文30余篇,获重庆市自然科学2等奖1项,专利2项。
